The Outeniqua Nature Reserve

The Outeniqua nature Reserve offers a number of day walks which can be enjoyed by those who have a few hours or a day to spare.

The Goukamma Nature Reserve

GOUKAMMA NATURE RESERVE (along the coast near Buffels Bay) offers two easy hikes. A circular route of 8km, or a hike of 14 km. For more info phone 0445-83 0042

Blydskap Protea Farm

For lovers of FYNBOS and especially the PROTEA, a GUIDED WALK (30 minutes to an hour) on the BLYDSKAP PROTEA FARM is a must.

Doring River Wilderness Circular Route
Possibly the most beautiful area of the Outeniquas and not to be missed. This untouched Wilderness area gives a true feeling of nature in its highest state of splendour. Permit needed. The 117km (7-day hike) runs the length of the reserve (a short circular day walk is available).
